Bangalore Shiv Mandir

I had the opportunity of visiting Bangalore very recently and spent some two days in Bangalore.. I visited several places there and Shiv Mandir is one among them.. This temple has its own unique aspects like:
1. The giant statue of Lord Shive(65 ft. approx.)
2. The temple very much differs from the traditional ones,as it does not have any ancient sculptures, carvings etc., but still has its own sanctity..
3. A cave like thing, which depicts various forms of Lord Shiva..

The temple is located at Airport Road, behind Kemp Fort building.. Though the temple is quite some kms from the main city, it proves to be worth visiting!!

As we know, Bangalore is entitled as 'The Garden City' with its own unique gardens and other places of tourist attraction.. Now that, apart from all those gardens, this temple has become yet another place of tourist attraction..

As a whole, this temple is an asset for the city, with its own characteristic beauty!!!!
