Its Time to Celebrate!!!!

Its time for all Indians to celebrate!! Indians have won the CommonWealth Bank series in the finals against Australia..

As we all know, winning a series against Australia, that too in the Australian grounds is quite amazing.. And today, Indians proved themselves by winning the CB series(a tri series between India, Australia and Sri Lanka)..

After getting selected for the finals, by crossing all the league matches, the Indians made a solid victory on the first final.. And today, being the second final match, it became the Do or Die match for the Australians.. So, with lots of expectations, the match started and of course, it was a pretty good start by the Indain openners, who chose to bat first.. It was Sachin's knock of 91 runs today, that turned out to be his unmatchable 89th half century..

The entire team performed well and managed to score 258 runs at the end of the innings.. When the Australians came out to bat, Indian fast bowler Praveen Kumar took early wickets of Gilly, Ponting and Clarke.. These early break thrus took our team to the commanding position.. It was then Hayden and Symonds whose partnership proved to be challenging as Hayden made his half century to reduce the burden on the team..

Later, in the 26th over, Aus lost Hayden and Symond's wickets.. But then, it was again Hussey and Hopes, who fought their best to reduce the chasing margin.. With these thrilling moments, it was Pathan who took the wicket of Hopes in the last over and marked the victory for our team!!

In short, all the players in our team, did their best in paving way for our success and it was Sachin and Praveen kumar who were the Stars today..

With this victory from the senior players on one side, we have the Under 19 team, who are presently the World Cup winners in their division!! So, we can say that India is shining in all spheres of cricket... Hats-Off to all those players, who were responsible for taking India to this winning position!!!!
