I had the oppurtunity of attending the Implant Training at WIPRO, during my 4th sem vacation.. Thanks to my cousin for arranging the training for me.. We were 6 in our batch and had a nice time.. The training went on for 6 days, almost 8 hrs a day( 8 30 am to 4 30 pm)..!! but, Believe it or not, we never felt the boredom of attending the class for hours together..
The areas which they covered in the training includes:
1. Basic networking concepts.. And network being one of my fav areas, i just loved attending it..
2. Basic ideas of Server end operations, which included some specialised concepts like RAID tech, which was given higher importance..
3. Some basics about the Microsoft products, which inc the study of hidden XP and VISTA features..
4. They also had a session which dealt with the BPO section of WIPRO and the customised applications of their customer support section..
On the other hand, the interiors of the company was fascinating!! A comfortable place with all essentials in exact proportions!!!!
If at all, you ever get a chance of attending an IPT at wipro, dont miss it!!!!

sincere apologies to everyone, for not replying to your queries. Its been a very long time since I wrote something here. The procedure I followed was really simple. Stepped into Wipro office at Guindy (Chennai) with a HR reference and enquired about any available IPT. They got my contact details and intimated me when they actually planned for one. It was for a small group of 7 people, where everyone has used some HR reference to get in. It was a 5-day training and am not really sure if they do it at a large scale these days. All that you need is a HR reference for attending this IPT. Sorry again folks, for this late, really late reply!!
